Hard Money NYC is owned by The W.A.D. Group, LLC., and operated by Robert Coppinger and John Lettera. We are a group of local real estate investors / professionals who understand our market. Our reputation is very important to us and we focus on doing the right thing for our clients every step of the way. Robert Coppinger Mr. Coppinger started his career in the financial services industry under the employ of our nation's largest banks (JP Morgan Chase Bank and HSBC Bank) as Vice President of their respective commercial desks.
Robert has been a successful entrepreneur launching various companies in the legal services, insurance, finance, and real estate industries. In 2005 Robert founded a successful professional consulting corporation, W.A.D. Services, Inc., which specialized in commercial real estate finance. Robert since then has closed over $500 million in commercial loans as both a broker and a direct lender in private money transactions (Hard Money). In 2007 Robert served as C.E.O. of W.A.D. Capital, LLC, a private money bridge lender, with a nationwide focus for deploying capital. Robert has a network of high net worth capital partners that he has worked closely with in the past on his own entrepreneurial endeavors and investment opportunities. He has a firm understanding of what it takes to start, market, grow, and position a company for longevity. Currently, Robert holds Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses for NY State and NJ State. He has formerly held NASD Series 7 and NASD Series 66 licenses. From 1999 to 2005, John was an Associate at the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP, where he represented public and private clients in a range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, restructurings, going-private transactions and leveraged buyouts, equity and debt financings, DIP financing, creditor committee representation and structuring private equity funds. Most recently, John was a founding member, President and CEO of Ramapo Realty, a real estate debt fund providing short-term, secured mortgage loans to qualifying real estate borrowers. John has lectured on the short sale process and on the proper use of leverage. John is a member of the New York State Bar.Hard Money NYC lends exclusively in the Tri-State area - New York (5 Boroughs and Westchester County), New Jersey, and Connecticut. |
